In collaboration with South Arts, Ruth Eckerd Hall is proud to host the 2024-2025 Southern Circuit of Independent Filmmakers at the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts.

For nearly fifty years, the Southern Circuit has connected independent filmmakers with communities throughout the South for screenings and conversations around compelling stories, important topics, and the art of filmmaking.

Ruth Eckerd Hall is proud to have been chosen as one of twenty-one screening partners throughout the southern region, and just one of three in the state of Florida, that will host six all-new documentary films created by emerging and first-time southern filmmakers.

“We are so proud to be named a 2024-25 South Arts Southern Circuit Screening Partner,” said Marcia P. Hoffman Vice President & Chief Education and Community Engagement Officer Sharon Reid-Kane, Ed.D. “We look forward to offering something new to those in our community – whether they are currently involved in our programming or visiting Ruth Eckerd Hall for the first time – while living our mission to continuously provide access to engaging artistic experiences.”
