THE MIDDLE SCHOOL ARTS INITIATIVE
RUTH ECKERD HALL PARTNERS WITH RAYMOND JAMES ON NEW TARGETED YOUTH ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAM
“Art has the power to engage our communities, foster individual well-being, and enrich the cultural vibrancy of the places we live and work. Art also has the potential to shape opportunities and inspire future generations,” Raymond James, 2024.
Raymond James, longstanding Ruth Eckerd Hall supporter and proud member of the Tampa Bay arts & culture community, will partner with the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts to create, “The Middle School Arts Initiative”. This exciting new program will focus exclusively on encouraging self-expression and collaboration among youth participants in grades 6-8, while offering exposure to various artistic genres through a commissioned production and in-school programming.
Raymond James sat down with Ruth Eckerd Hall CEO & President, Susan Crockett, as well as VP & Chief Education and Community Engagement Officer, Dr. Sharon Reid-Kane for an exclusive interview and blog post.
